Health Service Project

During 2006 I worked with Peamount Hospital, Newcastle, County Dublin, teaching Tai Chi and Chi Kung to a group of patients with varying degrees of mental and physical disabilities.

The patients received one hour's tuition per week in a simplified Tai Chi short form combined with standing Chi Kung and exercises designed to improve balance, muscle tone, joint strength and breathing pattern. A short Meditation was included at the end of each session as a means of instilling calmness and peace of mind.

If you work in the Health Service and would like to have a similar project started in your area,

then please contact me to discuss details.
